Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 164 days and the investigation of the case has already been concluded. Petitioner submits that there are hardly any materials to support the contention which has been advanced by the informant and unnecessarily the petitioner has been detained in custody. He may be released on bail on any stringent conditions. Learned advocate for the State submits that there are overwhelming materials appearing against the petitioner. To that effect, attention of the Court has been drawn to the statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C/Section 183 BNSS as also the supporting statements. It has also been contended that the mobile phone has been seized which has been sent for forensic report and the report is yet to be received.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M) 2380 of 2025 is dismissed.
