The petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the application under Section 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure pending before learned 2nd Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Sealdah in T.S. No. 398 of 2024. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that next date fixed is on January 10, 2024.

Upon considering the nature of relief claimed, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served by directing service of notice upon the opposite party and keeping the matter pending. Thus, this revisional application is disposed of with a request to the learned 2nd Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Sealdah to dispose of the application under Section 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure filed by the petitioner/defendant in T.S. No. 398 of 2024 expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the next date fixed.

Accordingly, this revisional application stands disposed of.
