Mr. Deepan Kr. Sarkar, Ms. Ashika Daga, Mr. Raunak Das Sharma, Ms. Shreya Basu ..for the Respondent no.10 in WPA(P) 586 of 2022.
Mr. Alak Kr. Ghosh, ..for KMC in WPA(P) 586 of 2022.
1. None for the petitioners.
2. By taking this Court to the relief claimed in these PILs urged that these PILs were filed in the year 2017 and 2022 when the State suffered dengue attack and there were scarcity of platelets etc.
3. The said situation is no more there and nothing remains to be decided in these PILs.
4. There is nobody to oppose the said prayer.
5. We find substance in the argument of learned counsel for the State that these PILs were filed considering the crisis prevailing at that point of time.
6. Thus, nothing remains to be decided at this stage.
7. Accordingly, these PILs are disposed of.
8. Needless to mention that in the event any such crises comes again, it will be open for the petitioners to file appropriate proceedings.
9. In the interest of justice, it is observed that it will be appropriate for all the hospitals to be
equipped with necessary medicines and other material for the purpose of treatment of dengue patients.
