Bihani, Advocates ... for the WBPCB The allegation in this petition is that certain lands at Mouza Shirakole within Police Station of Usthi, South 24 Parganas are being filled up illegally by sand and ash for construction of flats which has adverse effect on the natural environment and in this process some trees are also being cut, resulting into the increased pollution in the area.
Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the grievance raised by the petitioner can be duly looked into by the Additional District Magistrate (Land Reforms) of South 24 Parganas.
Hence, we dispose of this petition permitting the petitioner to file an appropriate detailed representation along with all the relevant materials before the Additional District Magistrate (Land Reforms), South 24 Parganas, who on receipt of such representation will duly look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate action against the concerned parties in
WPA 25115 of 2014 accordance with law, if the allegation made by the petitioner is found to be correct.
Let this exercise be completed within the period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation.
The present petition is accordingly disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
