In the matter of : Raju Bhowmik. ...petitioner. The present revisional application has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 19.9.2012 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur wherein the learned Magistrate in Misc. Case No.336 of 2008 (TR No.874 of 2008) was pleased to award maintenance of RS.1500/- per month to the wife and Rs.1,000/- per month to the minor son in a case under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Having regard to the quantum of maintenance awarded by the learned Magistrate, I am of the view that the same is in consonance with the cost of living and, as such, do not call for interference of this Court.

Accordingly, CRR 3487 of 2012 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
