The petitioner seeks payment of arrear salaries in terms of the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 3rd September, 2020 in MAT 1221 of 2019 (State of West Bengal & Ors. v. Anirban Ghosh & Ors.) and the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No.14355/2021 and 2809/2021 and the orders passed in Transfer Petitions (C) No.1288-1297/2022. 3.

It appears that a representation through the learned advocate was served upon the Commissioner of School Education in August, 2025, but there is no response from the authority till date.

As it appears that the representation submitted on behalf of the petitioner is pending consideration before the Commissioner of School

Education, Government of West Bengal, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the aforesaid authority, being the respondent no.2 herein, to take a decision on the petitioner's representation strictly in line with the judgments mentioned hereinabove after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5.

A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 6.

If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with all other supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
