1. Petitioner renews the prayer for bail. This is the third application for grant of bail.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks bail on the ground of delay of the trial. He submits that, although charges were framed in March 2024, since the Court is lying vacant, there is no possibility of trial ending any time soon.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for grant of bail. He refers to the materials in the Case Diary.

4. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected twice.

5. Materials in the Case Diary implicate the petitioner in the offence of murder.

7. The petitioner is in custody for two years seven months.

8. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the instant murder, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

10. CRM(DB) 3597 of 2024 is dismissed.
