Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Appellant/petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petitions/applications as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Co-appellant has been enlarged on bail. The appellant stands on the same footing.

Accordingly, we are inclined to extend the same privilege to the appellant/applicant also.

Accordingly, the appellant shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore on condition that he shall appear before the trial court once in a month till disposal of the appeal.

In the event the appellant fails to do so, the said court shall forthwith intimate such fact to this court and the department shall place this matter before the appropriate Bench for necessary order in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the applications, being CRAN 2 of 2020 and CRAN 3 of 2020, are disposed of.

Paper books be prepared within four weeks from the date of receipt of the lower court records.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible.
