Mr. Sourav Mukherjee Mr. Raja Das Mr. Mehedi Masud ....for the Petitioner Mr. Asif Dewan ....for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against inability of the respondents to provide an electricity connection at the subject premises in respect of operating of a submersible electrical pump.

It is submitted on behalf of the respondent WBSEDCL that they have no objection in providing such electricity connection. In this regard, it is submitted that in view of the objection, the matter be remanded to the District Magistrate, so that proper steps can be taken for construction of PCC Poles which are necessary to provide such connection.

In view of the above, WPA 26194 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Murshidabad in terms of Rule 3(b) of the Works of Licensee Rules, 2006 to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and after hearing all the parties including the local residents and the WBSEDCL.
