Mandal ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner complained in September, 2023 and, again in October, 2023 to the Officer-in-charge of Magrahat Police Station. The accusations of the petitioner are two fold: first, heirship certificate has been forged and, secondly, he has been threatened to be ousted from his property.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the police authorities have recorded a General Diary Entry and are aware regarding the prevailing situation at the ground level relating to the law and order.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, I direct that so far as the issue relating to breach of the peace and/or tranquility is concerned, the police authorities would ensure that peace is maintained.

So far as the other issue relating to forgery of the heirship certificate as has been contended by the learned advocate for the petitioner is concerned, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with appropriate materials available with him.

The learned Magistrate will conduct an enquiry and assess whether any cognizable offence is made out, thereafter, pass necessary directions under the relevant provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 25352 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
