The petitioner is aggrieved by the investigation into an FIR being Medinipur All Women PS Case No. 91/22 dated 17.09.2022 under Sections 498A/323/406/34 of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the D.P. Act by the Medinipur All Women Police Station.

The petitioner complains that all her seized articles have not been recovered till now.

The police submit that the petitioner has refused to accompany the police to recover her articles until her husband is arrested. The husband of the petitioner is absconding.

This Court is disappointed to note that the investigation into said FIR has not been completed till date.

The Investigating Officer of the Medinipur All Women Police Station shall complete investigation and submit a report within one month from date, mandatorily and positively.

The petitioner shall accompany the Investigating Officer to raid the premises of the accused persons to recover her stridhan articles in course of this week. The delay in investigation into the subject FIR, shall be enquired into by the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
