The present revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Misc. Case No.97 of 2022. The same is a proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Chandernagore.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court regarding the manner in which the hearing of the application for interim maintenance has been deferred.

Records reflect that the next date is fixed on 9th January, 2024.

Learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Chandernagore is directed to dispose of the application for interim maintenance on 9th January, 2024 or within a fortnight from the said date. The trial court would thereafter fix one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be concluded within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4318 of 2023 is

disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
