Petitioner approached this Court being dissatisfied with the progress of Eco Park Police Station Case No. 238/23 dated 06.10.2023 at the relevant period when the writ petition was preferred. Grievance of the petitioner was relating to the accused not being traced and it was also reflected in the report submitted by the State that warrant of arrest was issued against him and an anticipatory bail application was pending.

Mr. Sujan Chatterjee, Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no. 5 submits that anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner. Having regard to the change of circumstances and the period of time which has lapsed in the meantime, I am of the view that the

investigating agency if not fettered by any direction of a Court would take the investigation to its logical conclusion and submit their report before the jurisdictional court in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 26427 of 2024 is disposed of.
