The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Manihara High School, District:

Purulia who died-in-harness on November 22, 2020.

The petitioner, being the dependent son has applied for compassionate appointment, his such application is pending consideration before the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), District: Purulia, the respondent no.3 herein. The said application is appearing at page 15 of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-3'.

The petitioner is praying direction upon the said respondent for disposal of his said application.

The respondent no.3 is directed to dispose of the said application of the petitioner in

accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and thereafter shall communicate his decision to the petitioner.

WPA 26152 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the said writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
