The panchayat authorities have found unauthorized construction and they have referred the matter to the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer, in terms of Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973.

Under such circumstances, nothing remains to be decided in the contempt application.

The contempt application is disposed of upon recording of compliance. The contempt proceedings are dropped. The Rule is discharged.
