The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated July 17, 2025 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division), Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur in Misc. (Ele.) 30 of 2023 (CRN No.WBUD08-000300-2023). By the order impugned, the learned Court rejected the application filed by the petitioner under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, for a direction to send the CCTV footage with regard to the Panchayat General Election, 2023 at the Rahatpur Jr. Basis school for Panditpota-I Gram Panchayat Islampur/29, to an expert. The learned Court was of the view that until and unless the CCTV footage was brought in evidence, the question of independent expert opinion did not arise.

I do not find any irregularity in the order impugned. At first, the CCTV footage is required to be adduced as evidence following Section

63 of the BSA. The issue of authenticity can be raised later.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of.

The petitioner can renew his prayer at the appropriate stage and such prayer shall be considered in accordance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs.
