1. Affidavit-of-service filed today be kept on record.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners applied for certified copy of a registered deed but has not yet been given copy of the same.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent-authorities contends that the petitioners have to apply under Section 57(3) of the Registration Act, upon which such copy can be issued to the petitioners.

4. It is further contended by the respondent-authorities that the petitioners have merely written a letter to the registering authorities seeking such certified copy, for which the same could not be given.

5. Accordingly, WPA No. 25405 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to apply in proper format for a certified copy of the deed-in-question, in which case, upon compliance of all formalities by the petitioners, the respondent-authorities shall issue such

certified copy to the petitioners as expeditiously thereafter as possible.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
