Petitioner alleges that his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property is being interfered at the behest of the private respondents. To that effect the private respondents have been creating disturbance for his cultivation with the intent of grabbing the property. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report and contends that the nature of the dispute complained of is a long standing land dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. Police authorities cannot interfere with the same until and unless there are specific directions from a Court of law.

Be that as it may, since the petitioner has already complained, if there is any breach of the peace and/or tranquility the police authorities would ensure that no untoward incidents take place because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 26520 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
