The victim died due to the injury caused by assault. The name of the petitioner transpires as a person involved in the assault on the victim.

The police filed charge-sheet inter alia under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5557 of 2022 is dismissed.
