The grievance of the petitioner in the contempt application is that, despite a specific direction by a co-ordinate Bench dated July 31, 2019 issued in W. P. 25541(W) of 2018 (WPA 25541 of 2018) on the respondent no. 2, to consider and dispose of, in consultation with the respondent no. 4, the representation of the petitioner pertaining to permission to the petitioner to practise as a paediatric surgeon, such direction has not been complied with as yet. It is seen from the order dated March 4, 2020 passed in connection with the present contempt application that a Rule was issued,

returnable on May 6, 2020, when the alleged contemnors were to be present personally in Court at 10.30 am in the forenoon. However, since the alleged contemnors are not present in Court today, it is difficult to ascertain as to whether such Rule has been served on the alleged contemnors as yet.

To obviate further delay, the petitioner shall serve a notice indicating the next returnable date, along with copies of the contempt application, on the alleged contemnors by the next returnable date.

The office shall also give a report as regards the status of service of the Rule on the alleged contemnors as per the direction dated March 4, 2020, in the meantime.

The contempt application shall next be enlisted at the top of the list on January 11, 2021 for compliance and further orders.

Re:WPA 25541 of 2018 (W.P. 25541(w) of 2018) No order need be passed in the main writ petition, which has already been disposed of, in view of the order passed in the contempt application.
