Petitioner is in custody for more than a year. He submits identification by the Civic Volunteer is unreliable and recovery is not supported by independent witnesses. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record. Civic Volunteer had identified the petitioner in course of T. I. Parade examination. Stolen articles were recovered from the petitioner. He has criminal antecedents. Trial is in progress.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
