Mr. Ali, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks leave the Chairman, Central School Service Commission to add as party respondent in this instant case. Let the Chairman, Central School Service Commission be added as party in this writ petition. Necessary modifications be carried out in the cause title of the writ petition.

Mr. Sourav Mitra, who generally appears for the School Service Commission is present in Court and requested to accept service of copy of the application and assist the Court on behalf of the West Bengal School Service Commission in the instant case. Let his appointment be regularized in due course of time. In the writ petition, the petitioner had initially prayed for implementation of his recommendation by the School Service Commission for mutual transfer. Later on, pursuant to an order of this Court dated

December 16, 2022, in WPA 26203 of 2022 with WPA 26229 of 2022, the petitioner has filed an application seeking general transfer before the Chairman, West Bengal School Service Commission, that is, dated May 2, 2025, in prescribed format (page 15 to 20 in application being CAN 1 of 2025).

By doing so, the present petitioner has made his earlier prayer for mutual transfer and has now sought for a general transfer.

Considering the facts and circumstances, it is found proper to dispose of the present writ petition by directing the respondent/Chairman, West Bengal School Service Commission to take up, consider and decide the petitioner's application dated May 2, 2025, in accordance with law and if found suitable to recommend for his transfer as prayed for.

Let this exercise be done by the said added respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

With the direction as above, the application being CAN 1 of 2025 along with the writ petition being WPA 26203 of 2022 are disposed of.

Let it be mentioned that for the reasons of the web portal having stopped functioning, the petitioner's prayer vide application dated May 2, 2025, should not be turned down.
