The petitioner being aggrieved by the progress of the investigation has approached this Court for transfer of investigation.

State has submitted a report which reflects that in connection with Contai Police Station Case No. 661/2024 dated 17.10.2024, charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court. The basic allegation is that the son of the de facto complainant was kidnapped in a Maruti Omni Van. The police authorities have recovered the victim boy on the date the case was instituted. Thereafter the offending vehicle was seized also. Statements were recorded and after taking into account the materials collected, submitted chargesheet before the jurisdictional court. Subsequently, there were accusations of the petitioner being

threatened for which also proceedings have been drawn up.

In view of the charge-sheet having been submitted and steps have been taken by the investigating agency, if the petitioner is aggrieved, the petitioner will after receipt of the copies from the learned Magistrate in seisin of the matter ventilate his particular grievance before the jurisdictional court. The jurisdictional court, if it feels that further investigation is required will pass necessary orders.

The petitioner will also be at liberty to approach this Court at a subsequent stage, if he is dissatisfied regarding the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26562 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
