This instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking, inter alia, direction upon the respondents to cancel the panel prepared by the school authority and to prepare the panel afresh by considering the B.A. (Pass) marks of the petitioner along with other candidates.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for.

This case pertains to the year 2006. Despite the direction passed by the then Co-ordinate Bench of this court on 10.01.2007, neither affidavit-in-opposition nor affidavit-in-reply thereto has yet been filed by the parties.

This Court finds that the petitioner has applied for the post of Para Teacher in Joyrampur Vidya Bhawan as per the guidelines framed by the department Sarva Siksha Avijan, and his qualification was B.A. (Pass). However, the panel was prepared
ignoring the pass marks in graduation of the petitioner, and the said panel was sent to the District Project Officer for necessary approval.

Now, the petitioner is asking for the cancellation of the said panel prepared by the said school authority.

There is no scope for passing such an order after the expiry of a long passage of 19 years as the panel for recruitment is usually valid for only one year from the date of publication.

At the time of hearing the writ petition initially, no interim order was passed in the present case. Therefore, the petition has no merit after a long passage of time.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 26998 of 2006 is dismissed.

Connected applications, if any, are also, thus, disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 11.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
