Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 25.05.2025 in connection with the present case which has registered under Sections 135/138/149 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and petitioner is in custody for almost seven months.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that chargesheet has already been submitted in connection with the instant case.

Having regard to the period of detention of the petitioner, I direct the learned Special Court (Electricity Act), Howrah to release the petitioner viz., Sujoy Mondal on bail on such terms and conditions as it deems fit and proper so that learned Trial Court would be in a position to ensure

regarding further appearance of the petitioner in course of the trial.

The application for bail, being CRM (R) 146 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
