Pursuant to an earlier order of this Court, a report dated 23rd August, 2021 has been forwarded by the Superintendent, Dum, Dum Central Correctional Home.

A perusal of the same reveals that the appellants have already been released from custody on 19th July, 2021 on expiry of the sentence and payment of fine.

In view thereof, no further order is required to be passed in the present appeal, being C.R.A. 652 of 2017 and the same along with the connected application, being C.R.A.N. 2 of 2020 (Old C.R.A.N. 144 of 2020) is disposed of.
