Sarwar Jahan, learned advocate representing the contemnor no. 1 submits that the order passed on 8th March, 2022 by this Court which was modified by the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench dated 4th May, 2022 is complied with by the alleged contemnor no. 1 upon passing order dated 3rd February, 2023. In the contempt application applicant appears in person. Such order dated 3rd February, 2023 passed by the District Engineer, South 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad is placed before this Court which is taken on record.

In view of the order passed on behalf of South 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad the contempt petition is disposed of and the contempt proceeding stands dropped.

However, this order shall not preclude the applicant to take steps in accordance with law against the order dated 3rd February, 2023, if so advised.
