Roy ...for the NMC It appears that an inadvertent typographical error had ssi Ct. 17 crept into the order dated 13.08.2024 passed by this Court. The names of the learned counsels who had appeared on behalf of the respondent nos. 12, 13 and 14 were not recorded. On that day, learned senior counsel, Mr. Pratik Dhar, appeared on behalf of the said respondents along with learned counsels, Mr. Ritwik Pattanayak and Mr. Samir Halder.

The inadvertent typographical error is hereby corrected and the order dated 13.08.2024 shall always be read conjointly with this order.

Learned senior counsel representing the respondent nos. 12, 13 and 14 submits that the matter has become infructous in view of the order passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court.

No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.

No accommodation is sought.

This is despite the fact that by an order dated 12.06.2024, this Court had asked the petitioner to file an affidavit, inter alia, explaining as to why and how the petitioner did not mention about the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 06.10.2023 in SLP (Civil) Diary No. 39457 of 2023, although the present writ petition was affirmed for filing on 18.10.2023.

On the last occasion i.e. 13.08.2024 when the matter was called on for hearing, no one represented the petitioner or prayed for any adjournment.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for default. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
