The petitioner complains of non-payment of bills despite completion of work in terms of the work orders issued in his favour. Representation was filed before the Block Development Officer which is pending consideration till date.

No instruction has been received from the Block Development Officer with regard to the allegation made by the petitioner.

As it appears that the representation filed by the petitioner is pending consideration, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Block Development Officer and the Programme Officer (MGNREGS), Ratua-I to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner on 11th September, 2023 in accordance with law and in terms of the work orders issued in his favour.

If any amount is found due and payable, the same shall be disbursed at the earliest. Steps shall be taken in this regard positively within a period of five months from the date of communication of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the aforesaid respondent at the time of consideration of the representation filed by the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation and the work orders issued in his faovur at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
