In compliance with the direction dated November 08, 2024, Mr. Vaisya, learned Counsel for the DPSC, District 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no. 4 herein files report dated November 26, 2024 of the Chairman of the said Council, let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that the petitioner is a surplus confirmed teacher in the school where she is now working.

The representation of the petitioner for general transfer, is pending consideration before the Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no. 3 herein. The said representation dated September 25, 2024 is appearing at 'page 30' of the writ petition.

The respondent no.3 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, endeavour, however shall be made to place the petitioner in a school near to her residence.

WPA 26593 of 2024 is disposed with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Biswajit Basu, J.)
