For the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner applied for stage carriage permit before the concerned authority in prescribed form on 5th July, 2022 which is yet to be considered. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the authority to consider the application at the earliest. The petitioner also undertakes to deposit the prescribed fees assessed by the authority in this regard. It is submitted on behalf of the respondents that the 2nd respondent be directed to consider the application, in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 5th July, 2022 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
