Mitra, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that to switch over from CPF scheme to GPF scheme and to get the benefit of pension, the petitioner in terms of the order dated January 30, 2024 has refunded a sum of Rs.5,19,027/- (Rupees Five Lakh Nineteen Thousand Twenty Seven Only) in the concerned Treasury.

In view of such development, the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, the respondent no.3 herein is directed to issue necessary pension payment order in favour of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Upon issuance of such pension payment order, the concerned authorities shall take

forward steps to release family pension including the arrear in favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

W.P.A. 25492 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
