Mr. Mitra, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance with the order dated January 30, 2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has refunded a sum of Rs. 8,01,702/- (Eight lakhs one thousand seven hundred two rupees only) in the concerned Treasury to get the benefit of family pension by switching over from CPF Scheme to GPF Scheme. In view of such development, the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, the respondent no.3 herein is directed to issue necessary pension payment order in favour of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order and the concerned authorities, upon issuance of such pension payment order, shall take forward steps to release family pension including the arrear pension in favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

W.P.A. 25500 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
