The petitioner's prayer seeking transfer was recommended by the Commission and a transfer order in favour of the petitioner by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education was issued way back on 3rd June, 2022. When the petitioner visited the transferee school, he was not permitted to join.

The petitioner made request before the Commission seeking re-recommendation of his name. The same is pending consideration from June 2022.

As it appears that the petitioner was recommended for transfer but the transferee school did not permit the petitioner to join the same, accordingly, the petitioner's prayer seeking re-recommendation is liable to be considered by the Commission.

The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission to take steps for re-recommending the petitioner to a school after verifying its vacancy status and ensure that the petitioner is actually permitted to join there.

The aforesaid step shall be taken at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
