It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that their land has been acquired by the State respondents and no compensation has been paid to the petitioner nos. 3 and 4. Representations submitted by the said petitioners before the concerned authority (annexures P/2 and P/3 to the writ petition) are still pending.

In regard to the petitioner nos. 1 and 2, cheques issued in their favour cannot, according to the petitioners, be encashed due to technical defects therein. Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition being WPA 26297 of 2022 is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner nos. 3 and 4 (annexures P/2 and P/3 to the writ petition) within two months from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable

opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The said petitioners are at liberty to submit relevant documents before the concerned authority in support of their respective claims.

The petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are at liberty to approach the concerned authority for redressal of their grievance. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
