The writ petition is taken up for hearing when no one appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for either. Same situation prevailed on last Friday, 4th March, 2022 when the matter was called on for hearing. It further appears that this Court had on earlier occasion allowed one application being CAN 1/2018 of the applicant/writ petitioner whereby prayer was made to add West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and its President and Secretary as party respondents in the writ petition by granting liberty to the advocate-on-record of the writ petitioner to amend the cause title within a particular date. Today on perusal of the record, it appears that cause title of the writ petition was not amended by adding the Board and its Officials as party respondents.

It appears that writ petitioner has lost interest. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
