Mr. Rajes Jana ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. Earlier, the present de facto complainant and others had assaulted the petitioners' father. The G.D. entry lodged was registered as an FIR much later. The accused therein surrendered and were released on bail.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the petitioners are some of the principal accused as per the injury report. One of the victims suffered fracture of rib as a result of assault. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
