1. Present petition has been filed for expeditious trial of M/C case no. 482 of 2015 under Protection of Women for Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

2. The petitioner is stated to be 70 years of age. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the 11 years the case has not seen any substantial progress.

3. The Court considers that no prejudice will be caused either of the parties, if an appropriate direction is issued for expeditious disposal.

4. In the circumstances, learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Howrah is directed to conduct the trial in M/C case no. 482 of 2015 expeditiously in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournment.

5. Accordingly, CRR 4970 of 2025 stands disposed of.
