Mr. Ali, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted the Chemical Examiner's report before this court prepared by the Director, State Drugs Control and Research Laboratory. Let it be kept with the record.

Record of the learned special court which have been enclosed do not reflect that such chemical examiner's report was placed before the learned special court at the time of consideration of charges. Although, the report reflects that it was prepared on 6th July, 2023.

The original report be submitted before the learned special court under the NDPS Act cum Additional District Judge, 5th court, Berhampore, Muirshidabad.

Having considered the fact that the petitioners are in custody since August 25, 2022 i.e., more than one year three months, I am of the view that the learned trial court would expedite

the process of the trial. Accordingly, a schedule consisting of three dates be fixed once in every two months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournments be granted to any of the parties. All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4354 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
