Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the application filed by the petitioners before the concerned District Magistrate under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 has been kept pending inordinately beyond the statutory outer limit. 3.

Upon query of court, learned counsel for the Bank informs the court that there is no subsisting restraint order preventing the District Magistrate from deciding the same.

Accordingly, WPA 25548 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas to dispose of the petitioners' application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act as expeditiously as possible, positively within June 30, 2024.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
