1. Affidavit of service is taken on record.

2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to provide certified copy of the order dated 22.3.2024 passed by the Special Officer (Building) in demolition case no. 023-D/BrXII/22-23 passed under section 400(3) of the KMC Act 1980.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that a request was made to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation on 23.10.2024, seeking a copy of the demolition order purportedly passed on 26.03.2024. Despite repeated visits to the office of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation thereafter, the petitioner has not been furnished with a copy of the said demolition order till date.

4. He further submits that due to not having the certified copy of the said order, he is not in a position to prefer an appeal before the building tribunal.

5. This court directs the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to provide him a certified copy of the said order with logo within a period of one week from the date of communication of this order.

6. With the above direction the present writ petition is disposed of.

7. Since no affidavit is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
