Neighbours implicate all the petitioners before us in the incident of torture and assault on the victim. Apparently, the victim committed suicide within one year of marriage.

Husband of the victim was arrested and granted bail by the jurisdictional Court on the ground of period of detention. Considering the materials in the Case Diary implicating all the petitioners before us in the incident of torture and assault to the victim, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 4970 of 2023 is disposed of.
