None appears on behalf of either of the parties. The matter relates to selection process initiated by the District Panchayat and Rural Development Officer, Murshidabad to fill up the post of Clerk-cum-Typist in various Gram PachayatS within the district of Murshidabad. The selection process initiated in 2006. Considering this aspect, I am of the considered view that with the passage of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed. Interim order passed in the writ petition stands vacated.
