Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners allege nuisance being created by the private respondents.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State respondents has obtained instruction from the Inspector-in-Charge, Serampore Police Station dated 25th March, 2025 wherefrom it appears that there are cases and counter cases lodged by the parties. The police has investigated the matter and has submitted charge-sheet.

The report mentions that the police frequently visits the area and keeps sharp vigil. 5.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by observing that the police shall take necessary steps to ensure that there is no breach of peace at the locale and the life and liberty of the petitioners is not endangered at the hands of the private respondents.

As regards adjudication of civil rights of the parties, it will be open for the parties to approach the competent forum for remedy.

The report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Serampore Police Station signed on 25th March, 2025 is taken on record.
