Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 10 months and he has been implicated on the basis of statement of co-accused and there has been no recovery so far as the present petitioner is concerned. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are call data records and the vehicle which has been seized for the purpose of transhipment of the contraband belongs to the present petitioner. The Nodal Officer in the present case has been cited as prosecution witness.

Having considered the complicity of the present petitioner, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS)1477 of 2025 is dismissed.

State is directed to take steps for splitting up the trial of the case so that the charges are framed within 60 days from the next date so fixed.

Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail at the appropriate stage.
