It appears that the writ petition was dismissed for default by an order passed on 5th February, 2024 since the petitioners failed to take steps before this Court on that date.

Though an application being CAN 1 of 2024 for restoration of the writ petition was filed, the petitioners were found absent on the earlier date and are also not present today.

In view of the same, this Court is inclined to hold that the petitioners are no longer interested in proceeding with the application.

Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2024 is dismissed for default.
