1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner no. 1 assaulted with a 'katari' resulting in injuries. In light of the involvement of petitioner no. 1 in the crime we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

3. Petitioner no. 2 is his wife. Possibility of false implication owing to enmity cannot be ruled out. Accordingly, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to her.

4. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, petitioner no. 2 Sujata Kayal shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of BNSSD and that petitioner no.

appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
