Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about six months and investigation of the case has already been completed. Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the next date has been fixed in the month of January, 2026 for consideration of charges and it is said that similarly placed accused person has been released on bail. Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is a circumstance which distinguishes the present petitioner from the other accused who has been released on bail, but more or less the petitioner is similarly situated as it appears from the case diary.

Having considered the submission of the learned advocate for the petitioner that the next date is fixed for consideration of charges, I am of the opinion that the learned Trial Court will release the petitioner on bail on such terms and conditions as it deems fit and proper after the stage of consideration of charge is over.

With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (M) 2425 of 2025, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
