Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the subject-matter of the case relates to recovery of 25 kg and 240 gm of ganja allegedly from the possession of the present petitioner. Learned advocate also submits that the petitioner is in custody for seven months and there has been no progress in the case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that commercial quantity of contraband has been recovered and the next date is fixed for consideration of charges on 28th November, 2025. Having considered the period of detention as also the fact that date has been fixed for consideration of charges, I

direct the learned trial court to release the petitioner on bail after charges are framed before the learned Special Court. With the aforesaid observations, CRM(NDPS) 1484 of 2025 is disposed of.
