In the writ petition order of the President, Adhoc Committee, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education dated 24th July, 2023 has been questioned whereby name of the school was changed from Beara High School to Beara Brojendranath High School, 24 Parganas (North). However, during course of hearing learned advocate representing the petitioners could not satisfy locus of the petitioners. From the submission made on behalf of the petitioners it appears that at present they are not related to the school or its administration.

On behalf of the respondent authorities it is submitted that challenging the aforesaid order of the

President of the Board dated 24th July, 2023 another writ petition was previously filed by some other persons and same was dismissed by a coordinate Bench and thereafter appeal was preferred being FMA 742 of 2024 which was also dismissed on imposition of cost upon the appellants.

Since Court is not satisfied that the present petitioners have locus standi to maintain this writ petition and the issue has already been decided by the Hon'ble Division Bench vide order dated 6th February, 2025, the writ petition stands dismissed.
